bvc100 power up!

Yessss!!!
I got my first paycheck yesterday. Can you smeeeellllll... what the paycheck, smells like.
So, what to do eh? Har3. Most of you would be thinking: This guy is sure gonna spend it on buying another figurine/anime stuff and blow the rest at the arcades. But no.
I've decided to help myself to some less useful but more meaningful things to commemorate the first paycheck:
1. Treat my family to dinner
2. Give some pocket money to my parents and lil' sis.
3. Get myself a brand spanking new bowling ball
4. Replace Aoi-chan's rims

Truth to be told, no 3 and 4 was a bit of a nutter, but like i said, more meaningful. The fact that i'll be playing bowling more often than before made me treat myself to a personal ball. Mind you, it does make a whole lot of difference to the game. The feel of the ball is just superb.
Speaking of superb, check out Aoi-chan's new rims~ Cool huh? Thanks in part to Mr. Gustav of savoc.net for assisting me in choosing and buying the rims. Now Aoi-chan looks meaner than ever (damn i have to get that front lip spoiler back!).

Righto. Since i'm tired and nothing much had happened in the past 7 days, this will be the only post for the week. Expect more update next week. Tatata~ Wahahahaha~~~

So many to chose from... so little time and budget

Aoi-chan looking tense before the change

Aoi-chan, midway thru the change...

Out with the old...

In with the new

Aoi-chan makes a dignified exit for a test-run.

An artwork i couldn't scan. The scanner can only scan A4 max. Darn...

Doujin Update plus bonus stuff~

Noooooo!!!!
What in the world happened to warungpakseman.com's server? Now, apart from here n minitokyo.net, people will never be able to see my artwork. Darn! Dareka~! Somebody, fix it!!!
But hey, life must go on. So here's the update this week. Though there's only 2 artwork, they are of the completed type aka "i did have some spare time to sketch, clean n ink it plus do a bit more editing and cleaning up in the computer before posting it". The theme is nekomimi. One was inspired by the recent Valentino Rossi's day (Valentine's day to the other's who DO celebrate it. i don't... can't... darn again...), and the other is just another test of a different pose.
And here they are~~~ *clap3...

And since i had a grrreat week, here's some bonus stuff for all of you~ Wallies by your's truly~~~

Wallie of the two nekomimis from the above images

Char from T2's artwork, "Reflectia" is the tite of the OP in True Tears. Didn't find any True Tears scans on the net yet.

Char from Onegai Twins anime, one of my all time favourites

Doujin, again

2 Sisters

Yes3... what better way to start this week's installment of blogs by presenting to you one of my latest artwork.

Unlike the previous one, this one is one of the more usual theme that i use. The difference is that instead of only one character doing a sort of a pose, there are two in this one. Okay, i must admit it does look odd at certain places, but what the heck.

By the way, i've submitted this to the Star newspaper to be published in their weekly otaku column/page. This is my 3rd attempt. Hope this one gets through.

Wish me luck~~~

Latest artwork, but with a twist~

I went to IIUM a few days back to do my clearance for graduation. Although the process was painstakingly irritating, but one or two things help me to cool off, though not much...

One of it was the IIUM mosque. It has been a few months since i last came and prayed there, and i know that this is one of the place which i will miss in IIUM. Seeing it from a non-student point of view, i really appreciate the whole simplicity and comfort that was designed into it. Wished i had gone there a bit more during the student days...

Second, was the surroundings. And this i don't mean the other buildings, landscapes or such (though there are some nice scenery in IIUM), but the ladies. Don't get me wrong. i wasn't ogling over every lady that pass by me. It's just that in such a way, although IIUM requires the Muslim female students to wear it, the scarfs worn by the sisters made them look better, more mature and more importantly, beautiful. Add the fact that the choice of scarfs on offer made them also bang up to date in fashion terms, it had me inspired to try a hand on creating an artwork slightly different from my normal ones. I must say, i'm quite pleased with the outcome, but who am i to decide.

Hope that i can try to do this in parallel to my other artworks~~~

Aoi-chan goes to a 'clinic', while i try to finish a task...

Well... it's not a task anyway. Just something of a hobby really. The above artwork is just one of the artworks i'm doing in practicing my inking. It turned out quite nicely, so i thought of trying a hand it colouring it, by Photoshop of course. If it were to be hand painted... by God, it would turn out sour.

Oh yeah, just had a quick run to Aoi-chan's regular clinic. Apparently, the squeaking noise coming from the rear brakes wasn't because the shoe-liners (she has drums for the rear) were worn. It was just a matter of the dust from the liners itself rubbing against some components. Phew.... but, the 'nurses' quickly found a nail in one of the tyres and had it patched up. Good as new then... but not quite. The 'doctor' hinted that Aoi-chan's tyres need to be replaced soon, at a cost of RM180 a tyre. Next month's appointment then 'doctor'-san.

Cars... if it weren't for Aoi-chan, i just couldn't see what life is about. (- _ -)'

Aoi-chan waits patiently for her turn to meet the 'doctor'

Die dust, die!!! Wahahaha~ *'Nurse'*
