Quickie - 20/11/2008

Ever wondered what people mean when they say that they've eaten something so good, it gave them a 'melt-in-the-mouth' sensation? i've always wondered how it felt like, until yesterday.

So okay, it's not something that exquisite, nor was it expensive. Currently Sushi King are making promotions (somesort of the seasonal type thing, beats me) on their fresh and raw salmon and tuna sushis. Having eaten my regular dose of favourites, i tried the fresh and raw salmon first. WHAM! That melt-in-your-mouth sensation occured for the first time. Nice!!! And so, i got brave with my pocket and decided to try the other promotion sushis. Next up, fresh and raw salmon belly. The thing was glistening in the shop's light, and by the time it popped into my mouth... OMG! A second level melt-in-your-mouth sensation. What next? Fresh and raw (yet again) tuna. This one is special because they claim it was flown in fresh from the source (how true, i don't know), and again... ahhh..... talk about eating nice stuff once in a while.

This morning, i got stupid and called a local radio station to give my opinion on the topic they were talking about; the management of PLUS (One of Malaysia's highways, google it) offered a 10%/10sen (can't remember which) discount on tolls for users travelling the highway between 12midnight to 7am. Somehow or another, my turn was up and i gave them a piece of my mind. What did i say? Well, if you weren't tuned into the station you'll never know... and i couldn't be bothered mentioning it here. Huhuhu~~~

Not all of the pics taken are posted. For those who want the complete set and the hi-res version of any of the pics there, get it directly from me. Thanks

Last but not least, below are some pics of the ACF@Times Square, BAKUC and the Rei i just bought. Enjoy~~~

The newly bought Rei. Gotta love the fact that she's tanned and got that killer school-swimsuit tan lines~~~

This was the black paper anyone can draw on during the ACF event. The Keroro you see here was drawn by another good friend of mine, Eric. Go see his artworks at deviantart.com

... and this is mine, the gold colour one. Quite nice eh? Free publicity rules~~~

Ladies posing at their booth during the event. Can't remember who's booth this is, but they were selling figurines... which none interest me (Rei was bought at another booth...)

Models posing with two of the latest Gundam models at BAKUC...

Quickie - 17/11/2008

Had a wonderful time throughout the weekend. First, one of my cousin just got married (Congrats to her). The Kenduri (wedding reception) was done at my uncle's house at Pahang on Saturday. Food was in abundant and thankfully tasted as good as it looked. Most of the other relatives were able to come since it's now the school holidays period. Again, congrats to her and may Allah bless her marriage with his Rahmah~~~

ON Sunday, me and a couple of friends went to see the BAKUC challenge and ACF (Anime-Comic Fiesta... correct me if i'm wrong). Another congrats to the guys and gals who won the challenge, hope you guys can win big when representing Malaysia in the internationals. For the ACF, although the event area was small, yet the displays were good. Had a chance to talk to other artist or the doujin people and talk about artworks and stuff. Also had the opportunity to buy a quite rare figurine of Rei-chan. Why rare? One, it's one of the earlier figures of Rei and so it's rare, and two because she wasn't sold in bundle with Asuka. Thank God. Oh yeah, lest i forget, there was a special spot at the event area where we can scribble anything we want. Took the opportunity to 'publicize' this very blog along with a very rough sketch to draw attention. Nice.

As usual pics to come later, but for the first time visitors a very warm welcome to you and have fun reading whatever i post here~~~
